It has always been there,
A little black hole, drifting around your subconscious.
You don’t acknowledge it,
Until it starts to consume your entire body.
Days, were no longer days. They were battles.
Trying to fight it off, even just a little.
Trying to pull yourself out, trying to focus, smile.
But it leaves you too exhausted to try again the next day.
It’s so, so tiring… So you stop trying. You just give in to it.
You let it consume you. You start losing bits of yourself.
Day by day, you just deteriorate.
Like a cold, black wave it swallows you.
It pushes you under, it drowns you.
Now, as you sink lower, as you start to suffocate,
You wish you hadn’t let it win.
But it’s much too late now darling…
Now you’re at the bottom.
